I am not a blogger. I am not a writer. Nor am I an expert at anything in particular (i.e. singing, driving, cooking, gardening, building, photography or brain surgery). But, I AM a dreamer who believes everything is figure-out-able.

I married my best friend (I know everyone says that. Barf, right?) and he is the zen to my craziness. He does the heavy lifting in all of our projects and oversees all power tool usage so I can keep all of my limbs attached.

I am not a mother. (Sorry but I don't have any mommin' tips to share) I do have a four legged fur child that I adore. Marvin, the coolest American Bulldog/Hound dog around. He's cute right?

We recently purchased our first home on the Emerald Coast of Florida after almost of year of searching. This blog is our journey through upgrading and renovating our very "builder-grade" beach house on a budget along with things that inspire me.
